October 1st marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month and October 1, 2023 I got to meet Joy. Having survived cancer twice, Joy was diagnosed with cancer again but decided this time to take a different approach, beat the battle and embrace the bald. Before any treatments she had her head shaved and today was her first day sporting her new look. Her sister wanted to do something special and arranged a special pampering photo shoot for her. It truly was a JOY and honor to work with this amazing lady, share in her day and capture her beauty and elegance as well as her brawny strength and bad-assery.
